Methodology

Evidence before rankings.

This is the policy future DirectMobile comparison pages must meet. If the required fresh evidence is missing, the comparison is not published.

How quotes are collected

DirectMobile uses permitted public pages, sanctioned APIs, and partner feeds. Sources are normalized to the same device, storage, carrier, and condition fields. A market-reference source can provide context without being a direct buyback offer; it is labeled separately. Robots rules and source terms are respected. Manual research and test fixtures are never presented as live quotes.

Refresh and availability

A quote is considered live only when it was collected from a real source within the preceding 48 hours. The site does not substitute a deploy date, a fixture timestamp, or a registry entry for live coverage. Missing or stale data is withheld. Source failures may make coverage unavailable or reduce the number of visible offers.

Ranking and tie-breaks

Offers are ranked by the payout for the visitor’s exact selected variant, highest first. Commission does not change that order. Equal payouts are kept tied; when a stable display order is needed, DirectMobile uses the vendor name alphabetically rather than inventing a quality score. Payment speed, price-lock terms, and other known terms appear as context, not undisclosed ranking weights.

What “we earn commission” means

The label means DirectMobile may receive money if a visitor follows the labeled link and completes an eligible transaction. It does not mean the visitor pays DirectMobile, and it does not guarantee a commission will be earned. Non-affiliate references are labeled “no commission earned.” Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Important limits

Displayed values are estimates or vendor offers subject to each vendor’s inspection and terms. DirectMobile is not a buyer, reseller, shipping service, or payment processor and never takes possession of devices. Visitors should verify the final offer and terms with the vendor.
